CHOCOLATE SEDUCTION | |
1 (10 inch) unbaked deep dish pie shell 1 (5 oz.) unsweetened chocolate 1 c. butter 2 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. half & half 4 eggs, at room temperature 1 egg yolk 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla Bake pie shell for 5 minutes in 425 degree oven. Remove shell from oven and reduce heat to 350 degrees. In double boiler, melt chocolate and butter, stirring frequently. Add sugar and half and half. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture is smooth. Remove from over water. Beat eggs and yolk in small bowl. Add gradually to chocolate mixture, stirring until thick and smooth. Blend in vanilla. Pour into crust. Bake about 35 minutes or until set. Serve warm or cool completely. Decorate with whipped cream. Very rich! |
