PUMPKIN PIE CAKE 
CRUMBS:

1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick of butter
1 egg

Melt butter and pour over cake mix. Beat egg and add to mix to make crumbs (it's more like a dough). Save out 1 cup for topping. Pat remainder on bottom of large cake pan.

FILLING:

1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
2/3 c. canned milk
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix filling ingredients and pour over crumbs in cake pan.

TOPPING:

1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Add 1/2 stick melted butter, 1/2 cup white sugar, and nuts to reserved crumb mix; pat into flat handfuls and put on top of filling. Bake 50-55 minutes in 350 degree oven.
