FRUIT CAKE 
2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
6 eggs, beaten
1 c. light corn syrup
5 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. milk
2 lbs. raisins
4 1/2 lbs. mixed fruit
1 c. nuts, chopped
4 1/2 c. brandy

Bake 3 hours at 250 degrees.
