2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns 1/2 c. melted butter 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. instant minced onion 1 can cream of chicken soup 2 c. sour cream 2 c. grated American cheese TOPPING: 2 cups corn flakes (crushed after measuring) and 1/4 cup melted butter. Thaw hash browns. Mix all ingredients and add to potatoes. Put in a 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish. Sprinkle with topping. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cover dish first half baking time so topping doesn't get too brown. |
