DUTCH APPLE OR PEACH CAKE 
2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 scant c. milk

Mix as for cake and top with apples or peaches, sugar and cinnamon. Dot with butter. Bake in two greased pie pans at 325 degrees for approximately 25 minutes or until tests done.
