2 c. flour
2 c. sugar

Sift together. Set aside.

1/2 c. Crisco
1 stick butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa

Put all these ingredients in a pan. Let mixture come to a boil, stirring often. Pour in four mixture. To mixture, add:

1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda in 1/2 c. buttermilk, mixed
2 eggs

Pour into floured 11x16 or two smaller round pans. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

ICING:

4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 stick butter

Let come to a boil, and dump in:

1 box powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Spread on cake as soon as taken from the oven or while it is still hot.
