ROSE'S FRUIT SALAD 
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 c. watermelon balls
2 c. cantaloupe balls
1 c. pineapple chunks
1 c. grape halves

Combine sugar, water and lemon juice in small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Cool completely. Combine fruit in salad bowl. Add lemon mixture; mix gently. Chill for several hours to overnight.

Yield: 8 servings.
