STRAWBERRY PIE 
2 deep dish pie crusts, cooked
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cornstarch
2 c. cold water
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1 sm. strawberry Jello
2 qt. fresh strawberries

Slice berries in baked pie shells. Combine all ingredients except Jello and bring to boil. Boil until clear (about 2-3 minutes). Remove from heat. Add Jello. Pour over berries. Refrigerate until set. Top with real whipping cream.
