FRUIT TORTE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 pinch salt
1 pt. blue berries (or sliced apples or sliced peaches)

TOPPING:

Lemon juice
Sugar
Cinnamon
Flour (if fruit is juicy)

Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs and dry ingredients. Pour into a 9-inch springform pan. Add blueberries (or other fruit arranged uniformly) to top so entire surface is covered. Sprinkle with topping mixture. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

SUGGESTION: Serve with ice cream and fresh blueberries.
