FRENCH TOAST SUPREME 
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. white corn syrup
1 c. brown sugar
5 eggs
1 c. Carnation milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
French bread or Texas toast

Boil butter, corn syrup and brown sugar for 1 minute. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan and pour this caramel mixture in bottom. Slice bread 1 inch thick. Place slices close together on top of caramel mixture. Beat eggs, milk, vanilla and salt. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. When ready to serve, turn pieces over and sauce will be on top.
