MARINATED PEA SALAD 
3/4 c. vinegar
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper

Combine and boil 1 minute. Cool.

1 can English pea
1 c. celery
1 can sliced water chestnuts

Pour marinade over peas, celery and water chestnuts. Marinate overnight.
