CHICKEN BREAST WITH HONEY - WINE
SAUCE

1 c. dry white wine
4 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
4 whole broiler fryer chicken breasts (halved, boned, skinned and chunked, optional)
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. cooking oil
1/2 c. honey

In a bowl, mix wine, soy sauce and garlic powder. Add chicken and marinate for 1 hour. Drain chicken, reserving liquid. In a shallow dish, mix together flour, salt and pepper. Add chicken one piece at a time, dredging to coat. In a frying pan, heat oil to medium temperature. Add chicken and cook, turning after about 10 minutes until brown on all sides. Add honey to reserved marinade mixture; pour over chicken. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes or until fork can be inserted in chicken with ease. Spoon sauce over chicken when serving. Makes 4 servings.
