FOILED POTATOES 
3 lg. baking potatoes
4-5 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
1/4 lb. American cheese, cubed (or Velveeta)
1/4 lb. butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Slice peeled potatoes into a large piece of foil or a baking dish with a lid. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add bacon, cheese, onion slices and dabs of butter. Seal foil with a double fold; place on cookie sheet in oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Very tasty and easy clean up when you use the foil. Serves 4-5.
