FOILED POTATOES 
3 lg. baking potatoes
4-5 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled
1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
1/4 lb. American cheese, cubed
1/4 lb. butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Slice peeled potatoes into a large piece of foil or baking dish with a lid. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add bacon, cheese, onion slices and dabs of butter all over. Seal with a double fold. Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour.
