WHITE FUDGE 
2 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. white corn syrup
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. quartered, candied cherries

Combine sugar, sour cream, milk, butter, corn syrup and salt. Boil to 238 degrees. Remove from stove and let stand until lukewarm (about 1 hour). Add vanilla and beat until mixture loses its gloss. Add nuts and cherries. Line an 8 inch square pan with foil; pour in candy and let firm. Cut into pieces.
