OCTOBERFEST PIE 
1 lb. sauerkraut, drained
1/4 c. Thousand Island dressing, more if desired
1 pkg. smoked sausage
8-10 rye crisp crackers, crumbled
2 tbsp. butter, melted
2-3 med. tomatoes, sliced
3 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 tsp. caraway seed

Spread sauerkraut in 9" round baking dish. Top with tomato slices and dot with Thousand Island dressing. Cover with 2 to 3 inch sausage pieces, split lengthwise to lay flat. Top with cheese. Sprinkle with mixture of crackers, caraway seed and melted butter. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through. Cut in wedges to serve.
