QUICK, EASY AND DELICIOUS OKRA 
About 2 c. cut up okra
1 beaten egg
Flour or corn meal
Salt, pepper
Chopped onion (if desired)

Mix okra along with flour or corn meal. In a frying pan, pour a cup of cooking oil. Heat and add okra and onions. Let cook until golden brown; turn and brown again. Mix well to finish any unfried pieces and cook on medium heat. It doesn't take long (serves about 5).
