VEGETABLE SOUP WITH MEAT BALLS 
2 qts. water
2 carrots
1 onion, chopped
1/2 stalk celery
1 sm. can peas
1 potato, diced
1 sm. can tomatoes
Salt & pepper

MEAT BALLS:

1 lb. hamburger
1/4 onion, chopped fine
1/2 c. Italian grated cheese
1 egg
Salt & pepper
1/4 tsp. minced parsley
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Use a 4-quart kettle. Cut vegetables very fine and add to water. Bring to a boiling point. Add the meatballs, tomatoes and seasonings. Cover and let cook about 30 minutes. Add diced potatoes and peas. Simmer 30 minutes longer.

MEATBALLS: Mix together the above ingredients and roll, making 15 to 20 very small balls. Drop in soup according to directions.
