1 c lard (shortening)
2 c sugar
2 eggs, mixed thoroughly
1 c sweet milk (cow)
1 tsp vanilla
Flour, enough to stiffen (5 c)
2 tsp baking soda
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Cream together, lard and sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Roll out on well floured surface, cut. Better if dough sets awhile. Fill with desired filling.

Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
