DEEP DISH PIZZA 
3 c. baking mix (Bisquick)
3/4 c. water
1 lb. ground beef or turkey
Pepperoni slices
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (4 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
1 jar spaghetti sauce or pizza sauce

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan or for a thinner pizza use a jelly roll pan. Cook ground beef until brown; drain. (You may add some onion, salt, pepper and garlic while frying ground beef).

Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms. Gently smooth dough into ball on floured surface. Knead 20 times. Pat dough on bottom and up the sides of pan with floured hands. Spread sauce first, then beef, mushrooms, green pepper, onions and cheese. Top with pepperoni slices. Bake 15-20 minutes.
