TERIYAKI SAUCE 
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup rice vinegar

Place ingredients in a saucepan and stir together. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.

Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes or until thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.

Let cool. Brush this over chicken, beef, pork or vegetables.

Variation: If desired add a tablespoon of honey for extra sweetness.
