GRANOLA 
6 c. rolled oats
1 c. wheat flakes
1 c. rye flakes
1 c. nuts (almonds or cashews)
1 c. sunflower seeds
1/2 c. sesame seeds
1/4 - 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
Pinch salt
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. honey or molasses
3 tsp. vanilla

Combine dry and wet ingredients separately and then mix together, stirring well to moisten. Lightly grease large roasting pan, then scoop in granola. Bake at 300 degrees F. for 40 minutes, stirring frequently.

Any combination of oats and flakes may be used as long as it equals 9 cups. Muesli may also be substituted for part of those 8 cups. Cinnamon, wheat germ and powdered milk may be added to the dry ingredients. Dried fruits may be added after it is cooked.
