TUNNEL OF CHERRIES 
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. Crisco
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
Salt

Bake cake mix according to directions in a bundt pan.

Let cake cool and remove from pan. Slice 1 1/2" off the top of cake, keeping cut portion in one piece. Hollow out the center of cake, being careful not to dig through to the bottom. Place milk and flour in saucepan and cook until thick. When mixture has cooled cream together butter, Crisco, sugar, vanilla and salt. Add flour mixture. Beat on high speed for 10 minutes. Spoon a thin layer of creamed mixture into cake, then place teaspoonfuls of cherry pie filling in tunnel. Place another layer of cream filling over cherry filling. Place top portion on cake and frost with remaining filling. You may add cherry pie filling as a garnish.
