APPLE CRISP 
3 c. chopped unpeeled apples
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. hot water
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. flour
1 c. uncooked oatmeal
3/4 tsp. salt
Salted pecans, if desired

Place chopped apples in greased baking dish. Add combined corn syrup and hot water. Mix butter with brown sugar, flour, oatmeal and salt until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. If pecans are used, sprinkle over top. Bake in 350 degrees about 1 hour.

Thank you, I found this in a set of family recipes, however my aunt forgot to list the butter, and forgot to mention sprinkling the pecans over the top of the crumble.
