GRANDMA'S POPCORN BALLS 
16 c. freshly popped popcorn
3/4 c. Karo dark corn syrup
3/4 c. sugar

Simmer syrup and sugar over low heat, stirring constantly. When mixture forms a long string, when dropped from a spoon, pour over popcorn in a large bowl and stir. Rub your hands with butter and very quickly take handfuls of popcorn and form into balls.
