FUDGE-TOPPED BROWNIES | |
1 c. butter, melted 2 c. sugar 1 c. unsifted flour 2/3 c. Hershey's cocoa 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs 1/2 c. milk 3 tsp. vanilla extract 1 c. chopped nuts 1 (12 oz.) pkg. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk) Heat oven to 350 degrees. In mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, eggs, milk and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake 40 minutes or until set. Just before brownies are done, in saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk and remaining vanilla. Immediately spread over hot brownies. Cool. Chill. Cut into bars. |
