BARBARA'S CHOCOLATE ANGEL FOOD
CAKE
 
1 c. cake flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 3/4 c. (about 13-14 eggs) egg whites at room temperature
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt

Sift together flour, sugar and cocoa. Beat egg whites until frothy; add cream of tartar and salt. Beat until stiff. fold in sifted ingredients and get into a tube pan quickly. Bake for 35 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove from pan and turn upside down to cool.
