EARTHQUAKE CAKE | |
1 c. coconut 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 c. chopped pecans 1 stick butter 1 lb. confectioners' sugar Grease and flour a 13x9 inch pan. Spread coconut and pecans in bottom of pan. Prepare German chocolate cake mix according to package directions. Pour batter over coconut, pecans. Mix butter, cream cheese and confectioners' sugar. Pour mixture on top of batter (I glob it on by teaspoon). Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. It will be shaky but will set up. It looks like its been in an earthquake, thus the name but do not cook longer than the recipe calls for. |
