HAWAIIAN YAMS 
2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. saltc. flaked coconut
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
Dash salt
1 sm. jar cherries & juice
3 tbsp. flour

Place first 5 ingredients in blender. Blend on high until smooth. Add coconut and vanilla. Pour in baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and add topping.

Mix Topping: Mix the above in a saucepan. Cook slowly until thick, stirring constantly. Spoon over casserole.
