TURTLE CAKE 
1 German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1/2 c. coconut
1 c. pecans
1 c. chocolate chips

Mix cake as directed on box. Pour 1/2 batter in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Meanwhile melt butter, caramels and evaporated milk over low heat. Pour over cake, sprinkle coconut, pecans and chocolate chips on top, then pour over remaining cake batter, bake 20 minutes more at 350 degrees. Frost with your favorite chocolate frosting.
