2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
3 eggs
1 c. chopped raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda in 1 c. cold coffee
1 heaping tsp. baking powder

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, nuts and raisins. Mix flour and baking powder. To the butter-sugar mixture add flour alternately with coffee mixture. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until firm on top.
