24 HOUR FRUIT SALAD 
1 can fruit cocktail, drained
1 can pineapple, drained (save juice for later)
2 apples
2 bananas
3 oranges
1 pkg. bite-sized marshmallows
1 c. pecans
3 egg yolks
1 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. whipped cream (optional)
1 jar maraschino cherries (optional)

Cook egg yolks, sugar, salt, butter and pineapple juice until thick. Add 1 teaspoon cornstarch, if necessary. Mix with fruit cocktail and all other ingredients. Top with whipped cream and cherries, if desired. Chill for 24 hours.
