OATMEAL CRUNCH COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. quick oatmeal
2 c. Rice Krispies
3/4 c. raisins

Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift flour with soda, baking powder, and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Mix in oatmeal, Rice Krispies, and raisins. Dough will be crumbly. Shape into small balls. Place on a greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
