FROZEN PEANUT BUTTER PIE | |
Preparation time: 10 minutes. Freezeing time: 4 hours or overnight. Serves: 6. (One 9-inch) pie.) 1 pkg. (4 oz.) cream cheese, softened 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk 1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter 1 c. whipping cream 1 ready-made chocolate crumb pie crust 1/4 c. coarsely chopped peanuts Hot fudge sauce or whipped cream & chopped pecans for garnish 1. In mixer bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add condensed milk and penaut butter. Beat until well mixed. 2. Beat cream until stiff. Gently fold into peanut butter mixture until thoroughly blended. Turn into chocolate crust, smoothing top. Sprinkle with peanuts. 3. Cover. Freeze at least 4 hours or overnight. 4. When ready to serve, drizzle with hot fudge sauce or garnish with mounds of whipped cream. Sprinkle with additional peanuts. TIPS: If you want to make your own pie crust, blend 1 1/4 cups fine chocolate cookie crumbs and 1/4 cup melte butter. Press on bottom and sides of 9-inch pie pan with back of tablespoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool before filling. |
