LEMON DELIGHT CREAM CHEESE POUND
CAKE
 
1 1/2 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
3 c. sugar
juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
6 eggs, at room temperature
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Cream first 3 ingredients. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat after each. Add vanilla and lemon.

Stir in flour and baking powder, mix well. Pour into greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.

Bake at 325°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
