CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 to 2 lbs. cabbage, shredded
2 med. carrots, grated
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk, undiluted
1 stick butter
1 c. herbed stuffing mix
1 pkg. Sweet & Low or 2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt

Let cabbage stand in cold water for about 10 minutes, then shake off water and place in shallow 4-quart casserole. Sprinkle grated carrots over cabbage. Pour milk over all, then sprinkle with sweetener and salt.

Melt half of the butter and pour over cabbage. Melt rest of butter and stir into the stuffing mix. Sprinkle stuffing mix evenly over top. Cover with foil and cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove cover and cook for 30 minutes longer or until lightly browned. Makes 6-8 servings.
