BUCKEYE BALLS 
2 c. peanut butter
1 (16 oz.) box confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract

CHOCOLATE MIXTURE:

8 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
2 tbsp. shortening

1. Mix peanut butter, confectioners' sugar, butter and vanilla extract well with hands.

2. Form into balls and place on wax paper on cookie sheet.

3. Place in refrigerator for 1/2 hour.

CHOCOLATE MIXTURE:

1. Melt chocolate and shortening in double boiler over low heat, stir frequently.

2. Dip balls with toothpick into chocolate, covering 3/4 of peanut butter ball.

3. Place back on tray and store in refrigerator.
