VENISON STEW | |
1 lb. venison, cut in slices or cubes 2 tbsp. shortening 3 lg. potatoes, cut into sm. cubes 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, blended or mashed 16 oz. frozen mixed vegetables 2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. water Brown venison in shortening. Add remaining ingredients. Cook on low heat 45 minutes. Serve with cornbread. |
