LENTIL SOUP 
2 c. lentils
7 c. water
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Juice of 1 lemon

Place washed lentils and chopped onions in water and simmer covered for 1 hour.

Mix oil, flour, salt and spices in a bowl. Add 1/4 cup of soup to mixture and stir well. Pour the mixture into the soup and let simmer until the lentils are well cooked. Add lemon juice and simmer 5 more minutes.
