OLD FASHION SOUR CREAM COOKIES 
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. soft butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla or 2 tsp. lemon peel

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt; set aside. In a large bowl at medium speed beat butter, sugar and eggs until fluffy. At low speed beat in sour cream and gradually beat in flour. After mixing refrigerate 1 hour. You can put in freezer for about 15-20 minutes if in a hurry.

Drop batter by slightly rounded tablespoons, about 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 10-12 minutes.
