1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. confectioner's sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. double acting baking powder
1 1/2 - 2 c. flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients but the flour in a bowl and mix well. Add flour to make a stiff dough and shape into two rolls. Chill if necessary to handle as dough may become sticky. Grease cookie sheets. Slice 1/4 inch thick and bake for 20 minutes. This is not too sweet. Cookie freezes well.

ICING:

1 c. confectioners sugar
1 tbsp. milk

Decorate with "Dec a Cake" sequins.
