CARAWAY NOODLES AND CABBAGE | |
6 c. water 1/4 tsp. salt 2 oz. med. noodles 1/4 c. chopped onion 1 c. shredded cabbage 1/2 c. plain low-fat yogurt 1/2 tsp. caraway seeds Dash pepper In a large saucepan bring water and salt to boiling. Add noodles and onions. Reduce heat slightly and boil gently, uncovered for 5 minutes. Add cabbage to boiling water and cook for 3 to 5 minutes more until noodles and cabbage are tender. Drain well. Return noodles and cabbage to saucepan. Stir in yogurt, caraway seeds, and pepper. Heat through, but do not boil. 4 side dish servings. |
