CHEESY NOODLES AND CABBAGE 
1 lb. American cheese - use only American cheese
10 oz. pkg. noodles
Med. head cabbage
1 stick butter
2 1/4 c. milk - hot

Shred the cabbage and steam until tender; drain.

Cook noodles as directed on package; drain.

Mix 2 1/4 cups hot milk, cheese and butter, stirring until the mixture thickens. When it becomes thick, add the cabbage and the noodles. Put into 2 quart casserole. Bake 400 degrees, 30 minutes. Top with buttered cracker crumbs. (Melt 2 tablespoons butter and crushed crackers so they will sprinkle on top.)
