My friends in Hawaii (who own a gelato store) tell me that Australia uses the term sorbet rather than sherbet. I am making a variation of this for a women's sorority dinner on Wednesday. I will be using blood orange sorbet, champagne, 7 up, and thinly sliced orange segments. Yum.

Freeze a bowl of ice filled with sliced fruit for a lovely floating ice cube in your punch bowl, enjoy!

You can use rainbow sherbet and add strawberries instead of orange and 7 up instead of ginger ale. All of these recipes are good tasting.

We add frozen fruit to ours. For the virgin version we used fruit punch. Came out great!

I can't believe they don't have orange sherbet in Australia! I thought it was sold in most places! Do you have a Kroger or Wal-Mart where you live? I'm sure they sell it. Go online and look for stores in your area. Then, call them and ask them if they sell it. I don't know if you would have a Winn Dixie. That might just be a store in the U.S.
Hope you find it! Orange sherbet is one of my favorite foods!

This sounds really good!!! I think I'll try it! Do you get snookered when you drink it?

I read Cameron's comment from March. I don't know him but I'm so proud of him! asking for a non-alcoholic punch, I'm so glad to hear of teenagers and young people who don't drink!
We need more of that on the road!
God bless you, Cameron! May your new journey in life be a
happy and prosperous one with many exciting events and challenges headed your way!

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can buy orange sherbet from? Or is it called another name. I'm from Australia and I haven't really seen it in the supermarket before.

You can also use sprite or 7up in place of the champagne.

Cameron-that punch is actually really good with sparkling apple cider if you want it non-alcoholic.

It might sound stupid but, is there anything else to substitute in there instead of champagne?... It's for my graduation party coming up real soon!
