COCONUT POUND CAKE 
1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baing powder
1 tsp. salt
2 oz. coconut
1 tsp. coconut flavoring

Cream Crisco and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Sift dry ingredients together, add to mixture, alternate with buttermilk. Stir in coconut and flavoring. Pour in greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
