DOUGH - RA - ME BISCUITS 
1 1/2 c. flour (Martha White self-rising), sifted well
1 heaping tbsp. Crisco solid shortening
Milk

To the flour, add the Crisco and add milk slowly until you create a mixture the consistency of creamed potatoes. On a well greased cookie sheet or any good flat pan drop the biscuits. Be sure to leave two or more inches between them. In preheated oven (400 degrees). Bake on center rack until they rise up high. Then move to top rack and finish baking until they are brown.
