PARKER HOUSE ROLLS | |
2 c. milk, scald & cool 2 eggs 2 tsp. dry yeast dissolved in 1/2 c. lukewarm water 1/2 c. sugar 4 tbsp. melted butter 2 tsp. salt 8 c. flour Add eggs and dissolved yeast to the cooled milk. Add remaining ingredients. Mix to soft dough. Let raise until double in bulk. Roll 1/2" thick. Cut with round cutter. Crease each round with knife. Add a little butter, fold over and press together. Let raise 1 hour. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 24. |
