1 jigger domestic Applejack
the juice of 1/2 lemon or lime
2 dashes grenadine syrup

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with cracked ice and shake well.

Pour into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint or rosemary or a twist of lemon.
