KOLACHI 
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1/2 c. strawberry jam
1 c. chopped walnuts

Set oven to 325 degrees. Grease 8 inch square pan. Cream butter until soft. Gradually add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks and blend well. Gradually add flour and mix thoroughly. Fold in nuts. Spoon half of batter into pan.

Spread evenly. Top with jam. Cover with remaining dough. Bake 1 hour or until lightly browned. Remove from oven, cool, cut into 1 x 2 inch bars.
