12 eggs, separated 1 lb. butter 3 lbs. powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. rum 1 tsp. brandy 1 tsp. mace 1 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. allspice Beat yolks until light and whites stiff. Mix sugar and butter until crumbly. Add remaining ingredients except egg whites. Mix thoroughly. Fold in egg whites. Keep in refrigerator for weeks. Freezes well for months. |
